Pride in what they made
Nia introduces herself as the mother of Bintang and Bulan, from Samarinda in East Kalimantan. She remembers how happy the children were after camp and how eager they were to find out what they would learn next.
Hiking and learning to cut bamboo stand out in her account. The children brought their work home and were proud of what they had done. For Nia, these practical experiences were a memorable part of the camp.
