What is empathy school?
Empathy School is a nature-based school that focuses on social-emotional learning and individualized instruction. We believe that all four elements are essential for preparing children for the future:
Strong academics: We offer a rigorous academic curriculum that challenges students to think critically and creatively.
Strong social-emotional skills: We teach students how to manage their emotions, build relationships, and resolve conflict peacefully.
Individualized learning: We tailor our instruction to each student’s unique needs and learning style. The adaptation that nature teaches us: We believe that spending time in nature can help children develop resilience, empathy, and a love of learning.
what services does empathy school offers?
Empathy school kids range from age 2 to 14. We support them in kindergarten, primary and middle school through their standard academics. On top of that, they have activities in nature including nature science and jungle adventures.
We also focus heavily on social-emotional learning teaching kids the skills that they will need to lead in the future. To help kids develop further leadership skills and to sharpen their academic understanding, Kids undergo project based learning activities on a daily basis, with working through projects that constantly challenge them.
Empathy School also offers choices of activity during summer and winter break, most notably the Nature Camp activity. The nature camp is intended for ages 2 – 14 years old. Campers will be immersed in nature, Balinese culture, and most importantly project-based learning.
The skills and experiences at the camp have life-changing impacts. Independence, self-confidence, resilience, social and leadership skills, reduction of stress and anxiety. Our exciting nature camp program offers many incredible experiences such as outdoor adventure, water sports, wood carving, mud party, creative flow, bamboo art, permaculture, robotics, social-emotional learning, and many more. Which of course, the oversight of 300 hours of experienced teachers and training and caring staff.
