  • Every hire involves our Operations Manager, Human Resources Officer, and the hiring department.
  • Future teammates have a real voice—the people who will work together help choose one another.
  • We use a fair, consistent process aligned with Indonesian regulations.
  • International candidates: Roles and eligibility depend on Indonesian work‑authorization requirements. Details are discussed during the hiring process.

Core benefits are consistent. Specific terms may vary by role, contract type, and tenure. We aim for fairness and clarity across the board.

Yes. Most colleagues are on permanent contracts, which at Empathy School include guaranteed annual raises and strong job security with fair, transparent processes. We currently have 54 permanent staff, plus short‑term and part‑time roles.

Our Operations Manager, HR Officer, and the hiring department lead the process, and the future teammates participate—so teams help choose the people they’ll work with.

We coach first. If concerns persist, we follow a clear, fair process that complies with Indonesian regulations. Dismissal is rare and considered only for serious reasons.
